Large format silk painting.

The emphasis in this class is on allowing the dyes and silk to create the art while we, the artists listen to the "voice" of our materials. We will use guided imagery and meditation techniques to lead participants to find color/ image that inspires their "inner artist".  This class is of particular interest to those who want to loosen up their creative selves, allowing the materials to guide and speak more directly. The techniques used will facilitate creative breakthrough and personal insight.  Each participant will complete a large silk  (3'x6') piece by the end of the day.
