Introduction to Realistic Silk Painting

Students in this beginning to intermediate level class will learn to use the essential tools for silk painting: gutta resist, dyes, and salt.  Learning from an instructor
whose toolbox of techniques is extensive, you will quickly see how you
can turn even the most basic shapes into rich, deep images glowing with
soft, modulated color. In addition to all the usual supplies, some
practice silk will be provided for those students who have come to silk
