If you have paid your conference registration fee, you can reserve a room at the Institute of American Indian Arts dormitory. If you still need to pay for the Silk Painters International Festival you can click here.

The campus of the IAIA is about a mile from the Santa Fe Community College - where most of the festival activity is occurring. The dormitory was completed this year and can hold about 150 people. The festival is between semesters and it is very likely that there will be no food service at the dorm. Also, it is a dorm, so there is no maid service, no concierge, no liquor is allowed on campus, there is no smoking in the rooms, and there is no swimming pool. On the bright side the dorm is air conditioned, there is a volleyball court outside, and it has a beautiful view of the desert.

The rooms are double occupancy. If you don't have a roommate, one will be assigned to you. The cost of the dorm room per person is $30 per day. We are working on providing some kind of transportation from the dorms to Festival activities.

If you would like to reserve a room at the IAIA send your name, address, phone number and the dates you would like reserved (when you arrive and when you are leaving) to silkfashion@msn.com. Please put the word "Dormitory" in the subject line.
